Bespoke work

On this page I hope to show you some of the bespoke work I have done over the last year. In these photos, you will see that there is a bathroom cupboard built in the style of a panelled wall to hide the boiler and hot water cylinder. This comliments the rest of the house with its panelled walls and doors with ogee mouldings and quirk moulds to give an authentic old style. |
Here is the final photo of the job once finished, you can see I used one of the original bathroom cupboard doors to get a match fot the panel sizes, making it all match. All of the parts were made on site. this involved me taking a van load of equipment to the clients house to make this. Fortunatly the client had adequate space for me to spead out and do this project, I had my gazebo up because of the weather and cracked on despite the weather. This was an excellent job to do and most enjoyable. |

In this photo you can see I have built a bay window seat for a client that has a house in a moroccan style and a bay window seat with paneling was required and to be furnished with Moroccan upholstery. I made this one in the workshop and transported it plat pack style, assembled it on site and the made cheeks for the side to fill the bay and hide the radiator pipes that run all the way around the bay. Finally the pipes were boxed in around the wall with skirting board. |
| Wendys gates |
|---|
In this photo you can see a pair of gates. These were made for Wendy who had a car port on an exposed hill and the wind blew through and made it a bit of a wind tunnel. Then I came along and made the gates, got them swinging and now she has a sheltered back garden! The gates were 6' high and approximatly 7' wide, finished off with black jappaned hinges a sashlock and black bacolite knobs. |
| Degzys porch |
|---|
In this picture you can see my pal Degzy's porch that I got talked into making, so one evening in north Wales we had a few beers and between us came up with this porch design. After a while we scourced the oak for the leg, slate was plentiful being in Wales and the pan was hatched. I came along with the rafters and ply. Its anchored to the wall with resin fixings as the wind blows up the valley with some ferocity so it needed to be strong! You can see more pictures of this in the portfolio. |
AMS trade counter, This trade counter was made for a local trade shop, made to measure, with black top and beech melamine front. |
AMS shop counter. This image shows the hatch, I made this with hardwood edges to protect the formica from being damaged when the flap is dropped down. |
AMS shop counter. When the counter was made I also added shelving underneath, heavy duty enough for boxes of printer paper and other types of stationary. |
